We often hear that “seeing is believing,” but the Lord has already revealed enough of Himself that we ought to take Him at His Word—trusting and obeying without demanding miraculous signs. That is the heart of true faith. And in God’s kindness, that kind of faith is confirmed and strengthened after we believe, sometimes even through the miraculous, teaching us that the life of a Christian is ultimately about believing to see.
