In Zechariah 1, the Lord promises that if Israel returns to Him, He will in turn draw near to them, restoring the fullness of His covenant blessings. By the latter half of Zechariah 13, we witness the intense refining persecution through which God both judges and disciplines His people, leading them back to genuine repentance.
